"Et sted å feste blikket"

The students from Kulturskolen i Ås were all set to create an outdoor performance featuring dance and visual arts for TILT 2020. Circumstances being what they are though put a stop to that so our Tilt Grow dancers Live Skullerud and Hanne Svenning marshalled their skills and decided to make a dance film with the students and artists instead.

“Et sted å feste blikket” is a short commentary on xenophobia and social exclusion filmed in and around the culture school in one day. We hoped to premiere the film at the school’s 50th birthday party but 2020 is what it is so let’s all enjoy the film online instead.

The production also features the visual art of Bakeriet with music created by the students at Musikklab from Ås kulturskole.
