Panta Rei Dance Theatre is seeking new, full time administrator
Panta Rei Dance Theatre (PRD) is an Oslo-based dance company, established in the year 2000, that creates and disseminates dance art. The company has made a name for itself nationally and internationally for bringing dance to a wide audience of all ages. We are now looking for a committed and structured colleague to help further develop the company – strategically and organizationally.
The position is part of the company’s administration and involves work with strategy, financing and production. For the right person, the position may also include project responsibility for the company’s productions and/or communication work. The role can be adapted to your experience and capacity – we want to find the right person and adapt the position together with you. The position provides the opportunity to be a central person in the further development of PRD, with a variety of tasks and challenges.
Panta Rei Dance Theatre can offer an exciting and developing job in a dynamic working environment. We are located in modern premises in Sentralen in the center of Oslo and share premises with cultural institutions, festivals and other actors in the cultural sector. The company currently has 2 permanent employees in the administration, and collaborates and engages a large network of dancers, musicians, artists and other cultural institutions.
Duties
• Contribute to strategy and development work in collaboration with the artistic director and the team
• Map and follow up funding opportunities in the field
of art and culture • Write applications and reports related to projects and dissemination measures
• Contribute to the further development of the organization and our artistic projects
• (If needed and desired:) Have project responsibility and/or communication work for selected productions or dissemination initiatives
Desired background and expertise
• Interest in strategy and development work, preferably with experience from the field of culture or performing arts
• Motivation to develop expertise in financing and application writing (experience is an advantage).
• Good written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Experience with project management is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Knowledge of performing arts and/or the field of art and culture is a strength

• Structured and self-driven, but also flexible and cooperative
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of working with artistic processes
• Ability to balance strategic thinking and practical implementation
• Flexible, enterprising and willing to “step in” where needed
• Positive, solution-oriented – and preferably with a good portion of humor
