“Kappdans” Oslofjord Dancer at Drammen Museum
Join a performance where movement becomes a celebration under the open sky! This year, celebration is at the center and we want to lift the atmosphere in Drammen with energy, play and unity. Through acrobatic dance, groove and friendly competition, we celebrate the community, the moment and the joy of being together. This edition of the traveling performance series Oslofjorden Danser, has been prepared by the performers in the talent development program TILT Grow and is their main project, guided by Panta Rei Dance Theatre.
📅 Sunday 17 August
⏰ At 13:00 and 15:00
📍Place: Drammen Museum – Konnerudgata 7
The event is FREE, but requires pre-booking of tickets.
Duration: 75 minutes
The audience is invited to a walking performance through Drammens Museum’s outdoor areas filled with energy, playfulness and community. Together with guides, we move as one group from place to place where acrobatics, groove, improvisation and movement are in focus.
Attic Dance School will perform choreographies by Johannes Gudbrandsen-Stavland, Marnie Fiebig and Anna Benedicte Andresen from TILT Grow. There will also be musical performances from Edelbrass and DJ Nedja.
The fantastic solos from TILT Grow participants Ornilia Ubisse, choreographed by Chriz Nypan, Carlisle Sienes, choreographed by Aishwarya Raut and Elliot Norell Strinnö, choreographed by Paul Blackman, will also be shown during the performance. After the performance, we invite the audience to stay in the nice outdoor area at Drammens Museum, and it is possible to buy something good to eat. We hope as many people as possible take the chance, talk to someone new and let the experience last a little longer.
Feel free to bring an extra sweater and good footwear, as well as rainwear if rain is forecast.
A warm welcome to a sensuous late summer experience! The production is supported by: Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, Talent Norway and in collaboration with: Byen Vår Drammen, Drammens Museum.
