Oslofjorden Danser - Halden

Panta Rei Dance Theatre, And Eight Dance Festival and Halden Dance School, have for the third time the pleasure of welcoming you to the travelling performance Oslofjorden Danser on 20 September 2025 at Fredriksten Fortress, Halden.

Experience one of the country’s most beautiful fortresses in a new way in this atmospheric walking performance. The audience is guided steadily through the course and on the way the stage is set for many moments of dance art in the face of historical ground. See, among other things, 5 new solo works from the dancers in TILT Grow/Panta Rei Dance Theatre, local professional dancers and not least many talented and dedicated dance students from Halden, Strømstad, Aremark and several cities in Østfold.

The performances will be played on Saturday 20 August, at 19.30 and 20.30

Oslofjorden Danser – is a series of walking performances initiated by Panta Rei Dance Theatre along and near the Oslofjord where the audience gets to experience contemporary dance in new surroundings. The goal is to stage the Oslo Fjord and at the same time focus on a rich diversity of expressions, urban spaces and nature experiences. We look forward to welcoming past and new audiences to this unique experience.

TILT Grow – Is our talent development program that aims to promote dance professional performance and make dance artists more viable in a field that is constantly changing. The program runs over one year and is for professional dance artists at a high level, with a great interest in participating in projects that contribute to increased interest in dance among the population.

TILT weekend – The dancers in TILT Grow have choreographed dance students from Halden Dance School, Halden Cultural School, Aremark Cultural School and Strømstad Cultural School during one TILT weekend. The result will be shown during the walking performance.
