Oslofjorden Danser - Jessheim

Panta Rei Danseteater, Ullensaker Kulturskole and DanseRom are delighted to welcome audiences for the first time to the walking performance Oslofjorden Danser on 21 October 2026 in Jessheim town centre.

Experience an atmospheric journey through the centre of Jessheim – through dance, music and community. The audience will be guided along the route, encountering a series of unique moments of dance and music along the way.

The evening features six solo works by dancers from TILT Grow/Panta Rei Danseteater, dancers from Ullensaker Kulturskole and DanseRom – Romerike’s talent development programme. There will also be performances by Jessheim Upper Secondary School – the Music, Dance and Drama programme (MDD), Romerike Folk High School – the musical theatre programme, and Jessheim Jentekor.

The performances take place on Saturday, 21 October at 7:00 pm.

Oslofjorden Danser is a series of walking performances initiated by Panta Rei Danseteater along and near the Oslofjord, where audiences can experience contemporary dance in new surroundings. The aim is to bring the Oslofjord to life through performance while highlighting a rich diversity of artistic expressions, urban spaces and experiences of nature. We look forward to welcoming audiences to this unique experience.

TILT Weekend
An important part of the project is that dance talents from DanseRom and six professional dancers from TILT Grow / Panta Rei Danseteater perform side by side in a choreography created during the TILT Weekend. The result will become part of the walking performance and will also involve Jessheim Jentekor.

TILT Grow is our talent development programme, which aims to promote excellence in dance and help make dance artists more sustainable in a constantly changing field. The programme runs for one year and is aimed at highly skilled professional dance artists with a strong interest in taking part in projects that help increase public engagement with dance.

DanseRom:
A regional advanced dance programme in Upper Romerike. The programme is a collaboration between the region’s municipal schools of culture and the dance programme at Jessheim Upper Secondary School.
