The first seminar of TILT Grow 2018 took place at DansiT’s premises in Trondheim and focused on what is required by an executive and creative artist in contemporary Norway. The overall theme was: Does the overall artist exist?
Participants discussed what is required by an artist, both in terms of professional competence as well as communication and management of his own artistic work. It was also discussed whether existing regional and national infrastructures and political directions of the new government are sufficient to meet the needs of artists today. The introductions were held by representatives from Panta Rei Dance Theater (PRD), Dansens Hus, DansiT and danceartist Solveig Styve Holte.
