Henriette Hamli is a dance artist educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, with a BA in jazz. As a dancer, she is currently working with Jo Strømgren Kompani in six different performances, touring worldwide. Panta Rei Dance Theatre has also been one of her main employers with three productions and touring around the world. Henriette was also part of Oslo Danse ensemble for 8 years, where she participated in 9 productions and 2 Norwegian tours. In addition, she has worked with choreographers such as Inés Belli and Simone Grøtte and Henriette has experience as both a choreographer and dancer in various music videos, films and concert performances. Henriette is employed by the Actor and Dancers Alliance.
Geir Hytten
Geir Hytten has an MA in dance from Laban and an MPhil in Human Geography from UiO. He has collaborated with Punchdrunk on various projects over ten years. He played Macbeth in the original production of “Sleep No More”, New York and Shanghai. Other companies; Vincent Dance Theatre, The Cholmondeleys and The Featherstonehaughs, Frantic Assembly/National Theatre -Scotland, Daniel Kramer/Frauke Requardt (Sadler’s Wells), Coisceim, National Theatre -London og Complicite. In Norway he has been part of Jo Strømgren Kompani (2011-2021), danced for Impure Company, Brageteatret, Ulf Nilseng/Toyboys, Kjersti Engebretsen, Marie Nikazm Bakken/Friedrich Floen, Elle Sofe, Simone Grøtte, Katrine Kirsebom, Laterna, De Naive/Roza Moshtaghi, Gry Ulfeng and Karstein Solli. He has choreographed and performed Vi Synger (2016), YOURFAN (2018), hello brother scene and film (2019-20), grief will be our companion (2021) and will premiere in visible at Dansens Hus 2023/2024. He is employed by the Actor and Dance Alliance (SKUDA).
Stine Nilsen
Stine Nilsen trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Movement and Dance in London, gaining a First Class BA Dance Theatre, and an MA from Middlesex University. She worked as a freelance dancer and teacher in London, joining Candoco Dance Company as Artistic Co-Director 2007-2017. As Artistic Co-Director she was responsible for the artistic vision and commissioning of new works that were pushing the boundaries of dance and who can dance. In 2017 Stine Nilsen took over as CEO and Artistic Director of CODA Oslo International Dance Festival, one of the largest contemporary dance festival in the Nordic countries.
Matias Rønningen
Matias Rønningen has worked with many of the most important Norwegian choreographers and companies such as Dansdesign /Anne Grethe Eriksen & Leif Hernes, Kari Hoaas, Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki, Eivind Seljeseth, Pia Holden and Anne Ekenes, Jo Strømgren, Ina Christel Johannesen and Kjersti Alveberg. In addition, since 2011 he has been associated with Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt where he has been a co-creative dancer in many productions. From 2014 to 2019 he also worked in the Norwegian National Ballet and has had prominent roles in works by choreographers such as Jiri Kylian, Ingun Bjørnsgaard, Kjersti Alveberg, Jo Strømgren, Ina Christel Johannesen and William Forsythe.
Ingrid Berger Myhre
Ingrid is a Norwegian choreographer and performer based in Brussels. She holds an MA in Choreography; Research and Performance from ex.e.r.ce at the Choreographic Centre in Montpellier and later deepened her project literacy in dance at the Research Studio’s at P.A.R.T.S. Since 2015, she has developed her work as associate artist at Dansateliers Rotterdam, and from 2019 – 2020 with the support of the Dutch Performing Arts Funds. Language and semiotics are central elements to Ingrid’s artistic work. Her curiosity for how we read and understand dance, comes together in unpretentious and humorous performances. Since 2020 her work is supported internationally by Caravan Production and the advancing performing arts project (apap) network.
Mathias Jin Budtz
Mathias works as a dancer, teacher and choreographer in various genres of street/club dance; like Break, Hip-Hop and House. He has received the Norwegian Government’s work grant for young newly established artists and is co-founder of Subsdans, Soul Sessions Oslo and the crew dEEp doWN dopEiZM. Mathias is also a member of Kingwings Crew. Mathias was born in Korea, adopted to Denmark and has lived in Norway since 2007. He is passionate about the importance of dance in society and is active in virtually all aspects of the profession; performer on stage, at the club and in battles and jams, choreographer, dance teacher and mentor, producer, organizer and board work.
Cecilie Lindeman Steen
Cecilie has worked as a dance artist for 35 years in the independent performing arts field. She has participated in well over a hundred productions as well as individual performances, improvisations, events and concerts. In addition to her own projects, Ms Steen has collaborated with a wide range of choreographers and other artists and had extensive national and international touring. Since her studies, she has worked closely with choreographer Ina Christel Johannessen. In recent years, she has also worked in projects in collaboration with Shanti Bramachari, Mia Habib, Kristina Gjems, Janne-Camilla Lyster and Heine Avdal/Yukiko Shinozaki / fieldworks. Cecilie has been a mentor in Panta Rei / Tilt GROW for several years.
Anne Ekenes
Anne trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Movement and Dance in London gaining a BA Dance Theatre and a MA in choreography, dance for camera and performance. As a dancer she has worked with choreographers such as Jamie Watton (UK) and Lois Taylor (UK) before founding Panta Rei Dance Theater (PRD) in 2000. As the CEO and Artistic Director of PRD Anne has created a number of projects and choreographed works for stage, outdoor locations and experimental film. The company tours extensively both in Norway and abroad performing and leading bilateral projects, taking part in discussions on how to develop dance as an art from in the years to come.
