2020 — PROJECTS

A duet by and with Live Skullerud and Oliver Sale, made in collaboration with choreographers Anne Ekenes and Pia Holden. (Panta Rei Dance Theatre)

With a skewed look at the world of fairy tales, the dancers take us on a journey where you as an audience can create your own story. Who are and what do knights, princesses and trolls want?

Live completed her bachelor’s degree in performing contemporary dance at the University of Stavanger in 2018 and now works freelance as a creative and performing dance artist based in Fredrikstad and Stavanger. Live dances for the London / Stavanger-based dance company Hagit Yakira Dance, in addition to participating in several stand-alone productions and creating her own projects.

Live engages in creating and practicing dance art with a desire to convey dance to a wide audience, and is in its own work concerned with creating a playful, physical expression in the borderland between the personal and the universal, based on ideas of identity and human interaction. In 2020, Live is “Årets Spire” in the mentor program SPIRE, a collaboration between Tou Scene and RAS – Regional Arena for Contemporary Dance in Stavanger.
