DiGGdansen
During DiGGfest, there was a lot of dancing joy, laughter and big smiles – when this year’s festival dance appeared around the city, at schools and events during the festival week.
The DiGG dance offered a public party and got many dancing children and adults to move together.
During the school tour “DiGGfest at your school”, the dance was met with eagerness and enthusiasm. Over 900 students participated and danced the DiGG dance during the 6-day tour. Regardless of functional variation, age or dance skills – this dance was (and is!) for everyone. We sent out instructional videos to all the schools in advance, so it could be used in teaching. Many students already knew the dance when we visited, which gave the students a complete ownership of the dance.
At “DiGGfest Open Weekend”, the dance appeared as a surprising pop-up feature in several places and always with an open invitation to the audience to join.
“DiGGfest Open Stage” ended with 200 dancing enthusiasts doing the DiGGdance together, in a really awesome Flashmob final!
