TILT-helg i Halden
Professional dancers from the talent program TILT Grow, met young local dancers for an intensive TILT weekend in Halden.
Over the course of two days, they created choreographies together, which would become part of the walking performance Oslofjorden Danser Halden, the following weekend.
The scenery was spectacular Fredriksten Fortress and since the performance was to be played in the dark, the dancers were given light sources as a theme. They were to create choreographies where the dancers had a light source with them or use light that was already on site. Meeting between the local dance students and the professional dancers is an important part of the project. In Halden, there is also a desire for TILT to be an arena where several dance schools can meet and collaborate.
The TILT project and the traveling performance have been a three-year collaboration and an important part of building up And Eight Dance Festival (A8DF) as an annual dance festival for all the city’s residents.
