In C - Community
With In C Community, we have been part of a unique collaborative project with Nagelhus Schia Productions via Danseløftet, together with partners from the advisory board.
In C Community is a large-scale performance of In C by Sasha Waltz, set to music by Terry Riley.
The project is organized by Nagelhus Schia Productions and realized as part of Danseløftet 2026–2036, an initiative launched by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB to strengthen the role, visibility, and significance of dance in Norway.
In C Community brings together over 50 dancers from various companies, talent programs, and organizations within the dance sector—a unique undertaking in the Norwegian context. DanseFOT participates through its collaboration with Nagelhus Schia Productions, while DanseRom and Stiiftelsen Unike participate through their collaboration with Panta Rei Danseteater. Both past and present talents from TILT Grow took part as dancers.
The project places a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, uniting professional dancers, dancers with various types of disabilities together with amateurs, young people and seniors in a vibrant choreographic community.
Premiere: May 30th, 2026, at Museumsplassen (Museum Square) by the National Museum.
Performance: June 6th, 2026, at Nedre Foss Gård.
The performance was free and open to everyone.
