MOVE dance festival

MOVE dance festival, 2 – 5 May 2019

Ps: Dance is the initiator and in collaboration with Hamar Municipality, Hamar Kulturhus, Teater Innlandet, SIB, Hamar Kino, Kunstbanken and TILT we made a real dance party with workshops, battle, performances, seminars, pop-up art and much more. This is a festival of great width – for big and small, old and young, something for everyone. Everything that happened during the festival was free, with the exception of the dance performances.

MOVE had several TILT events:

- TILT Seminar 9.30-15.30 – How to communicate well as a dance artist, arranged by TILT at Teater Innlandet.

- Premiere of the “local hit” of ours at Stortorget!

In collaboration with Ringsaker, Løten and Stange Municipality, we make a local song, which will represent the Hamar region. A flashmob will be created that will be taught to all 5th-graders in Hamar, as well as children and young people around the municipalities, and companies of different kinds. There will also be a music video for this song. The premiere of the song and the flashmob will be on Saturday’s show in the square, followed by a flashmob tour around Hamar city center.

- Crew-night: We have invited to an evening for dance crews around Hedmark and Oppland where they can get to know each other. We eat pizza, have a jam and finish with a movie. We have rented a movie theater where we will watch a dance film and create good atmosphere in the hall after the film.

- All Styles Dancebattle: An open evening where everyone can join in battle in what style you want in Hamar Kulturhus. An evening with great atmosphere!
