CESILIE KVERNELAND
Cecilie er en dansekunstner basert i Stavanger. Hun er utdannet fra Universitetet i Stavanger med en faglærerutdanning i dans og er videre utdannet fra Peridance Capezio Dance Theater i New York City. Cesilie har også studert koreografi ved California Institute of the Arts i Los Angeles og tatt en Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance fra London Contemporary Dance School.
Siden 2016 har hun jobbet sammen med musiker John Derek Bishop og forfatter Gunnar Roalkvam om prosjektet ”Ute et sted” som er en serie stedspesifikke forestillinger med musikk, dans og tekst i uterom. Hun jobber freelance som koreograf og som danser for blant annet James Cousins (UK), Roskva Yasmin Andersen (NO) og Inger Cecilie Bertràn de Lis (NO) og Pia Myrvold (FR/NO).
RACHEL ERDOS
Rachel Erdos is a British/Israeli award winning independent choreographer. She received her MA from The Laban Centre London. Rachel won first prize in the AICC International choreography competition, Aarhus, Denmark in 2008 and in 2009 won City Dance Ensemble’s commissioning project, Washington DC.
In 2012 Rachel was awarded the prize for artist of the year by The Ministry of Absorption, Israel. In 2014 she won NorthWest Dance Project’s Pretty Creative Commission, Portland USA. In 2015 Rachel was awarded prize for independent choreographer of the year by The Ministry of Culture, Israel. Her work has been shown in some of the most prestigious venues including The Kennedy Centre, Washington DC, The Joyce, New York and the Royal Opera House London. In 2018 Rachel was visiting artist/professor at Brown University, U.S.A.
